Nurse Cherry Cottage, was built upon land owned by the local midwife, Nurse Cherry. She delivered half the Dales children and was very well thought of.

Set in the village of Reeth, within Swaledale, this 4* Visit Britain rated two bedroom Cottage with open fire is a perfect base for walking and enjoying the stunning scenery.

The main village square has several pubs, cafes and other shops, including a Bakery, Newsagents, Post Office and craft shops. Every Friday morning a small market selling local produce sets up on the village green.

There is a lovely park for children, only five minutes walk from the cottage, with paths down to the river for lazy days playing in the water.

The local Brass Band plays on the village green, weather permitting most weeks, carrying you back in time !
